My family is very involved in Eric’s life in every way we can be (I know, I’ve reiterated this many, many times). Anyway, this often involves participating in Autism walks and other similar events.
Every year, and sometimes twice a year, my parents get a team together to sponsor Eric for the Autism walk that takes place at Towson University. Various family members such as aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc., come out to support “Team Eric.” We always have a great turn out and it’s an overall rewarding experience for everyone involved. On top of that, we, and the rest of the walkers, raise a great amount of money for Autism research.
I love being involved in charity events that support Autism, and other worthy causes mostly because they give me more opportunities to spend time with Eric. We also get a lot of wonderful pictures of him with the family. Here are a few of my favorites…
